Rawlings and Perfect Game Announce Pre-Season All-American Teams

Perfect Game logoRawlings and Perfect Game have announced their pre-season All-American team selections.

“With more than 450,000 high school baseball players in the nation, the Rawlings-Perfect Game Preseason All-American players represent the very best in their class,” said Mike Thompson, chief marketing officer for St. Louis-based Rawlings. “Rawlings and Perfect Game are synonymous with the game of baseball, and the preseason awards allow us to recognize and reward these elite athletes for their hard work and contribution to the game.”

To determine the top players in the country, players were first selected on a regional basis, with each of the nine regions of the United States having a first, second, and third team All-Region team.

From the 150 players selected in each region, the top 150 national players were selected and placed onto the All-American first, second, or third teams.

Florida leads all states with eight first team selections. Texas and California each have seven players receiving first team honors.

Each first team player has committed, with the most first team commits going to LSU (5), Vanderbilt (5), Mississippi (4), Florida (4) and Clemson (3).
