Riley Cooper of Clovis North HS has been named the Player of the Week in Northern California by Prep Baseball Report, for the week of March 11-17, 2019. Cooper, a 6’3″ left-handed pitcher, struck out 17 batters while shutting out rival Clovis High School, for a 2-0 victory.
The shutout is the second in a row for Cooper. The Arizona commit has struck out 27 batters while scattering eight hits and walking three over the last two games.
Cooper and his Clovis North teammates are currently ranked #7 in PBR’s California High School rankings.
