Prep Baseball Report has announced a partnership with the Georgia Dugout Club to host the 55th Georgia Dugout Club Spring Tournament. The partnership will kick off in 2020.
The 2020 tournament will be held be held on Feb. 14-15 and again on Feb. 21-22. Both weekends will feature a maximum 32 teams. Teams will play a single game on Friday night and a doubleheader on Saturday.
All games will be played at the Lakepoint Complex in Emerson, GA. Tournament officials cited the eight turf fields as a major reason for the change of venue, with the turf fields providing insurance against weather cancellations.
Interested teams should email Tournament Director Harvey Cochran at harveycochran@comcast.net. Emails should include a contact cell phone number, school name and classification, and which weekend is preferred.
