Coach Matt Englander of Case Western ReserveCase Western Reserve head coach Matt Englander earned the 300th win of his 13-year career as the Spartans defeated Baldwin Wallace by a score of 7-2 at Nobby’s Ballpark in Cleveland, OH.

Five different Case Western Reserve pitchers combined to allow just four hits and three walks in the game, led by junior LHP Casey McConihe. McConihe started the game and got the win, allowing just one hit in two scoreless innings.

At the plate, Case Western was led by senior 3B Jacob Kucia’s two doubles and 3 RBI. Kucia’s 3-for-5 performance raised his batting average to a team leading .420.

Coach Englander is the winningest coach in CWR history. Over 13 seasons, his record stands at 300-211-2.
Englander had led CWRU to three University Athletic Association Championships, four NCAA appearances, and nine straight seasons of three or more wins.
