Camp Location and Player Information
“We’re running to camp November 9 at 10:00 a.m. and it’s at Force Sports Northfield, at 4505 Northfield Road in Warrenville Heights, about 10 minutes away from our Solon, Ohio campus.”
Being a new program, we’re primarily focused on 2020 graduates. As a program, we’re looking to evaluate talent and make offers as soon as possible, so we can establish a strong recruiting class for this early signing period.”
“This is a great opportunity to showcase their skills at a pro-style camp for very little cost. We’re charging $20. Participants will have the option of running the 60 yard dash, we’re going to take a full infield, players will showcase what they can do defensively, we’ll be recording throwing velocity, catchers will throw to bases and have their pop times and throwing velocities evaluated, pitchers will throw a bullpen.
And then the second half of the camp we will have several hitting stations where players will be evaluated.”
What Should Players Bring to the Camp?
“This is just like any typical showcase bring your bat and your helmet any gloves you use and turf shoes — we’ll be working out on turf.”
Why Should Players Consider Bryant and Stratton College?
“In my opinion, this is a really unique opportunity for a player who feels like they still have a lot of room to grow and develop as an athlete. This could be a guy who’s currently profiling as a Division III player but he wants to get an athletic scholarship, and we can do that at our level.
We just got our first verbal commit from a definite Division II talent, but he knew that going the JUCO route was the best avenue for playing time and getting better. We play at a high level. We get to play 70 games between the fall on the spring — and you have to play to get better.
Think about how many at bats that is, think about how many innings as a pitcher — that’s what can offer at this level. And being a brand-new program, our roster is wide open, so there’s a lot of opportunities.”
